Vintage 1930s DENIM BLUE BELL WRANGLER JEANS UNUSED W/ TAGS size 32/32

  • Description: Unused jeans from Blue Bell, with original tags. OK, I am pretty sure these are some of the earliest Blue Bell jeans, earliest meaning before Blue Bell bought the Casey Jones/Wrangler company in 1943. I bought these from a man who bought many clothes and never used them. Most items were from the 1950s and 1960s, and that is what I thought these would be until I researched them. I could not find any other examples of Blue Bell not using the Wrangler name. If Blue Bell DID produce jeans later without the Wrangler name, let me know, I've been in business over 25 years selling vintage merchandise, I have no desire to misrepresent anything. I have researched them for months and can find no evidence they were produced after 1943. The tag is marked "Blue Bell Inc. General Sales Office, 93 Worth St. New York 13, N.Y." I know the company was based in Greensboro NC, but apparently they had a sales office in NYC. There is no mention of Wrangler anywhere on any of the tags, nor on the buttons. The Jeans have a BUTTON FLY, no zipper. Nor does the tag mention "CASEY JONES" the company that had owned the rights to the Wrangler name prior to Blue Bell buying them. So....yeah, I think they are pre-1943. There are rivets at each side of pockets
  • Age or era: I believe these to be from before 1943.
  • Condition: Unused, with tags. There is some light oxidation (blue) on the brass rivets and on the brass snaps. The
  • Size: marked 32/32, these are older size

Guaranteed vintage items, not newer repops.
